Preston Model Centre first opened in 1978, in premises at 2 Fylde Rd in Preston, and traded there successfully for almost 20 years, supplying model enthusiasts from all over the UK with their new models and accessories, before moving along Fylde Rd to its current premises at number 245, where it can provide improved facilities for its customers, including forecourt parking.

In 1999, we opened our online model shop - the first in the UK - to make it even easier for existing and new customers alike to contact us, purchase our products and have them shipped to their front door, and we re-opened Preston Model Racetrack, where you can meet other enthusiasts and race your rc model vehicles.

This year, we are continuing to add to the range of models available in our on-line shop and have recently completed a major expansion of our premises to allow us to stock an even greater range.

We sell model cars, model planes, model boats, model helicopters, model rockets, model trucks, model submarines and model accessories including model engines and radio control radios from a variety of suppliers including Ripmax, J Perkins, JP Model, Irvine, Traxxas, Amerang, Helgar, and Euromodel.

You can still find us in Fylde Rd and we are, as ever, always pleased to offer free advice to our customers over the phone, in person, and now - by email. If they make it - we can obtain it for you!
